Seriously, it takes longer to get to Vietnam than to Kenya. London was very cold.
We arrived in Mombasa at 8 am Sunday morning. Since it is only 3:20pm, i have not been here that long. After the hour long lecture on health and safety, we went up to our rooms for a short time, went to lunch in Fort Jesus, wandered around there, and FINALLY found an internet cafe that was open on Sundays.
It hot here, but no more so than in the Summertime in CT or Boston. There is a nice breeze all the time and I can feel my skin sizzle in the sun, despite layers of sunblock.
The rooms we are staying in are nice, for now. In a few days we go to malindi for a night and then to Lamu for four weeks. I swear i will get the address and post it.
They gave us the option of buying a cell phone here that can be used to make local calls and to receive international calls. but its 50$ plus minutes. I would have to text someone with the phone number and have them call me back for this to be worth it, but if you, and by you i mean mom and boy, want to be able to stay in touch with me, let em know some how. Call SIT or post here.
Boy, call my mom cause she certainly won't be checking this site.
I am tired from the trip and can barely understand what's going on. Apparently i will have to make it in kenya by myself for a month. i will have to find a place to stay and all of that by myself to do my ISP. This sucks, I want to go home. I miss my kitty and cold weather.
But Anyway, I love you boy and other people who are reading this. I hope you are all doing well.
