The Union NGO was a group of 6 people who acted as an intermediary between NGOs in the Fes, Morocco region. The main focus of the group was to create a network between groups that ran similar programing so as to maximize limited resources, have group training, join events together to get the most benefit and to provide training to association executives in computer literacy, organization of events and project planning. While in Morocco I worked with them to create a website that would better show the efforts of L'Union and enable better communication between the various member associations. The final project was presented to them on March 14, and I will post their website link when it is up and running. This was a very good way for me to learn not only about communications methods and materials, but also how to communicate across cultures and with three different languages. For example, the business for this project was done in french, the mock-up done in english and then translated into Arabic. for photographs from this trip please see the "Fes, Morocco Photos" thread! much love, salam, barak et bisses!
